How it plays
Your child runs the stall
The book follows a young seller from a first idea to a busy stall. Every page is a moment to decide.
01
1📖
Step 1
Pick a challenge
Each page sets up a moment at the stall: what to sell, what price to charge, a rainy day, an unhappy customer.
02
2🤔
Step 2
Make a decision
Your child chooses what to do, using a decision card or their own idea.
03
3💰
Step 3
See what happens
Play money changes hands. The ledger shows what was earned, spent and left over.
04
4💬
Step 4
Talk it through
A short question from the parent guide: why did that work? What would you change?
05
5🔁
Step 5
Try again
Change the plan and play the challenge again, or move on and collect a star.
Plays again and again: Thirty challenges over three levels, plus build-your-own business pages for inventing new stalls.
What it’s designed to practise
Why these three skills
We name only the skills the challenges are built around — and how the play gives children a chance to practise them.
Money sense
Make thoughtful choices with money.
Play money and a ledger make every rupee visible: what it cost, what it earned, what’s left.
Decision making
Weigh it. Choose it. Own it.
Price, place, what to sell — each challenge asks for a choice, and the decision cards show it leads somewhere different.
Problem solving
Try, test, learn, try again.
Rain, angry customers, nobody stopping by — problems arrive, and the child tries a fix, then another.
What’s in the box
Everything for 30 challenges
Kit design
Activity book
30 business challenges across three levels — idea, budget, supplies, price, customers, a problem, profit and reflection.
Decision cards
Each choice leads to a different outcome.
Play money and ledger sheet
Round-number play money and a simple ledger with boxes to track earning and spending.
Star stickers
To mark challenges your child completes.
Parent guide
Two or three talking questions for every challenge.
“Future CEO” certificate
For when the last challenge is done.
For parents
Five minutes of your time, one good question
You don’t need to teach. The parent guide gives you two or three short questions per challenge, so you can ask “why did you choose that?” instead of explaining the answer.
What we saw in play testingWhat we changed
Long instructions — younger children got stuck.Every step is now three short lines and a picture.
The sums were hard for 7–8-year-olds.Round numbers only (₹5, ₹10, ₹20) and a ledger with boxes to fill.
Older children finished too fast.A bonus challenge card in every chapter.

What parents and children told us
Our prototype
Already teaches money through pocket money and trips to the shop. Tried apps, but doesn’t want more screen time.
— Working mother of a 9-year-old
What we learnedScreen-free isn’t a nice extra — it’s a reason to choose a kit.
Our prototype
Has paid for camps and board games. The games get boring after two or three plays.
— Father of two, aged 8 and 12
What we learnedEvery kit needs a clear goal and a reason to play again.
Our prototype
Would buy it if she could see her child enjoying it — and learning something she can actually see.
— Mother of a 7-year-old
What we learnedA real demo and a parent guide matter as much as the box.
Our prototype
Loved the decision cards and the stickers. Younger ones struggled with long text and sums; older ones finished fast.
— Children aged 7–12, playing the paper prototype
What we learnedThe decision moment is the heart of the kit — and 8–11 is the sweet spot.
From our parent interviews and play tests of the printed prototype. Shared without names.

Questions about this kit
What age is it for?+
It’s designed for children aged 8 to 11. In play testing, younger children found the sums tricky and older children raced through, so we built this first kit for the 8–11 sweet spot.
Do I need to sit with my child?+
Not the whole time. The parent guide gives two or three short questions for each challenge, so a five-minute chat — “why did you pick that price?” — is all it takes to join in.
Does it need a phone, tablet or app?+
No. Everything happens on paper and on the table: the activity book, cards, play money and stickers.
What is the kit made of?+
The kit is made of printed paper parts: an activity book, cards, play money, a ledger sheet, stickers and a certificate. Full material and safety details will be listed on the product page before pre-orders open.
How much does it cost?+
₹1,499 including GST, with free shipping across India. Reserve yours with a ₹500 advance today and pay the ₹999 balance before we ship.
